We won’t be setting up the beach on Friday afternoon. The actual set-up will take place from 7am on Saturday morning the 24th. A huge thank you to all of you have volunteered but we still require some assistance in “Cash Handling / Regos / Officials & BBQ”.
We look to start the registrations from 9am and BBQ from 10am. If you can lend a hand please come on down. Even if just for an hour. We will make it fun!!!

All please find attached the most recent memo from Central Coast SLS with respect to Junior Carnivals. It is important that you make yourself aware of the changes.
We have secured a position at Westfield Tuggerah to host a BBQ as well as perform registrations. This is a great fund raiser opportunity for the club. We require people to volunteer for a couple of hours each to man the BBQ. If you can spare a couple of hours could you please contact Wendy Pennings on 0420 435 172
Time Slots are 8:30am to 10:30am, 10:30am to 12:30pm, 12:30pm to 2:30pm and 2:30pm to 4:30pm
NOTE: Enclosed shoes must be worn and we require a minimum of four (4) people per shift.

Patrol Teams 2016/17 (v4)
I have been meeting with many of you over the past weeks as the opportunity arises. There are some great ideas out there with respect to the club, its people and operations.
Ahead of registration and the annual handbook I am wanting to let you know that I am intending on having 4 joint “Junior and Senior” meetings per year. The idea being that whilst we are focussed on different aspects of the club it is an opportunity to come together to understand how we can leverage off one another and also shape the vision of the club moving forward.
I am proposing that for the months of October 2016, January 2017, April 2017 and July 2017 we replace our individual committee meetings with a joint meeting on the second Tuesday at 7pm. This provides us with 2 meetings off season and 2 meetings in season.
The agenda will be relatively standard in order to report and capture action items etc, but I would like for us to focus on steering and idea creation.
